Kylie Matchett is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Edinburgh, in Professor Neil Henderson’s lab. Funded by the Wellcome Trust she is researching mechanisms regulating organ repair and regeneration using a combination of sequencing technologies including single cell-RNAseq, spatial transcriptomics and multiplex imaging methods.

In her research she enjoys engaging with people from many different fields to help gain biological richer insights.

Kylie is very excited by JRNLclub as a platform to help researchers more widely disseminate their work, and in a more engaging way. She also likes how it can facilitate the coming together of different areas of research as the talks are aimed at everyone.
